VFW: Voice of Democracy Scholarship Competition – This competition provides grades 9-12 the opportunity to write & record an audio essay on the given patriotic theme; students are competing for more than $2.3 million in college scholarships & incentives. NHS Scholarship Program – Applications for the 2020-21 NHS Scholarship are available to all NHS senior members in good standing. Eligible NHS senior members must first create an account with NHS by going to www.nhs.us/create-an-account. The application opens on October 1, and NHS Scholarship applicants can access the scholarship link by gong to www.nhs.us/scholarship. Deadline is December 1, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. (ET).
AES Engineers Scholarship – The consulting firm of AES is committed to continuing its support of higher education by providing scholarships to deserving students. Students do not need to be studying engineering to apply. To be eligible, the student needs to answer one of the essay questions that are posted on this site: http://www.aesengineers.com/scholarships.htm. Amount of award: $500.00. College Board Opportunity Scholarships - For high school juniors and seniors. The attached document shows 6 steps for students to do to qualify for scholarship drawings by College Board. Completing all six steps enters a student into the final drawing in March of their senior year. By working through the six steps, students will practice for the SAT, identify potential colleges, complete the FAFSA, and apply to colleges.
